All applicants for visa, Dutch passports or other consular matters are required to schedule an appointment.
Visa
Applications for visas need to be submitted in person, at most
offices this is by appointment only. Please click
here to schedule an appointment.
After processing, your passport with visa can be returned to you
by mail or you can pick it up in person at the
office you applied at.
The choice to have your passport and other original documents send
back is made under your sole responsibility. The Embassy or
Consulates do not accept any liability for damage or loss of
documents.
For mailing within the USA :
Submit a self-addressed label,
recommended with tracking services (e.g. UPS, FedEx or Express
mail), listing the APPLICANTS name as the sender,
but followed by the embassy's address, no matter where you
submit your application. The sender section of your label needs to
read as follows:
<Your Name>
4200 Linnean Avenue
Washington, DC 20008
Please note
In order to apply for a visa, you must have a valid signed passport
with at least two empty pages.
The original date of issue of the passport must be within the last
ten years. Passports older than ten years will be refused.
If your passport does not meet these requirements you will need to
apply for a new passport before submitting your application.
Use the Visa Inquiry Form to inquire if a visa should be
obtained before traveling to the Netherlands, Aruba or the
Netherlands Antilles. All form fields require a selection in order
to process the inquiry.
